Tamarind Seed husk contains approx. 20-22% fibre and 20-223% Tannins, which can yield good tanning properties in leather industry. When suitably blended is used for tanning leather and imparting colour-fast shades to wool. Tamarind seed husk tannin gives a harsh and highly coloured leather which is used for heavy soles, suitcases, etc.
